Code of Conduct
The behaviour of delegates attending the 2026 Canada Model United Nations conference (hereafter referred to as “CANMUN 2026” and “the conference”) reflects not only on themselves but also on their institutions and the conference as a whole. To ensure a safe, professional, and enjoyable experience for all parties involved—including delegates, faculty advisors, conference staff, and hotel staff—the following Code of Conduct has been established.
The following sections below highlight crucial information regarding this conference’s policies and the respective laws of the City of Toronto. All attendees are required to thoroughly read this document, as adherence to these policies is expected throughout the entire conference. This includes, but is not limited to, committee sessions, conference socials, committee breaks, and the opening and closing ceremonies, as well as any events or activities organised in connection with the conference. By completing the registration and attendance for CANMUN 2026, all delegates confirm their commitment to abide by the terms of this Code of Conduct.
Please note that all equity and inclusivity concerns will be treated with the utmost importance and urgency. We are committed to addressing any issues promptly and ensuring that all participants feel respected and valued throughout the conference. Canada Model United Nations does not tolerate any acts of discrimination and harassment.
